Getting started
Opening an account
What you need, what is checked, and what you can do before verification is finished.
You need an email address you control, a password, and your country of residence. That is the whole registration form.
Country of residence
Pick the country you actually live in, not the country of your passport or your VPN exit. It determines which funding rails you are offered and which rules apply to your account, and it is checked against your identity documents at verification. A mismatch does not automatically reject you, but it is reviewed by a person and it will slow you down.
Some countries carry a warning. You can still register: you will be asked to acknowledge that we may not be able to serve you and that the decision is taken case by case at verification. That acknowledgement is recorded with a timestamp.
Verify your email
We send a link. Until you open it the account exists but cannot transact. If the message does not arrive, check spam, then request a new one — links expire, and only the newest one works.
What works before verification
You can sign in, look at the catalogue, and deposit. You cannot invest or withdraw until identity verification is approved. That is deliberate: we would rather you not fund an account we may not be able to serve.
Security from day one
Turn on two-factor authentication before you deposit anything. It is required for withdrawals anyway, and enabling it while your balance is zero is the cheapest time to discover you saved the backup codes incorrectly.
