Funding and withdrawals
Funding by bank transfer
How the payment reference works, why the payer must be you, and when the money appears.
A bank transfer starts in the platform, not in your bank. Create a funding request first: it fixes the currency, the amount you intend to send and, most importantly, the reference.
The reference
Every request gets its own reference — a short code with the ambiguous characters left out, so an O cannot be read as a zero. Put it in the payment description exactly as shown. It is what lets us match your money to your account without asking you to prove it later. It is issued once and is not valid for a second payment.
The payer must be you
The sending account must be in your own name at a regulated institution. Payments from a company account, a family member or a payment app that fronts for another bank are returned to source, and returning a payment costs both of us a week. This is not a policy we can bend for a good client — it is the control that stops the platform being used to move someone else's money.
Amount
Send what you declared. If the amount differs, we credit what actually arrived, not what was announced: banks deduct correspondent fees on international transfers, and the difference is usually theirs, not ours.
Timing
Domestic transfers usually land the same or next business day; international ones take longer, and neither moves at the weekend. The expected window for each rail is published on the funding page. Once the money is on our statement, a member of staff — never you — confirms it and the credit appears in your account with the posting behind it.
While the rails are in sandbox
Bank details are not issued yet: the legal entity is not in place. The flow above is what will run, and the funding page says plainly which rails are live.
