Crypto deposits and networks

Why the network matters more than the asset, and what happens between sending and crediting.

Updated September 6, 2026

Your deposit address is issued for one asset on one network. The pair matters: the same symbol exists on several chains, and the address formats can look identical.

Choose the network first

In the deposit screen pick the asset, then the network, then copy the address that appears. Send only that asset on that network. USDT on one chain is not USDT on another, and a token sent to an address that does not exist on the receiving chain is, in most cases, unrecoverable — by us or by anyone.

If the destination asks for a memo or a tag, it is part of the address, not an optional note.

Confirmations

A transfer is credited after the required number of confirmations for that network, which the deposit screen shows and counts. Until then the deposit is visible as pending: the funds exist on-chain but are not yet spendable in your account. Faster chains confirm in seconds, Bitcoin in tens of minutes.

Minimums

Each asset and network has a minimum. Below it, the network fee to move the funds onward can exceed the amount itself, so the deposit is not credited automatically and has to be handled by hand.

No staff step

Crypto crediting is automatic. Nobody approves it, and nobody can speed it up: the delay is the chain's, not ours. If a transfer is confirmed on-chain but not credited after the stated number of confirmations, send us the transaction hash and we will trace it.
